Phones4u Manager Of The Month - February
February Manager of the Month Matt Grundy received his Phones 4u Fantasy Football trophy from Derby County defender John Brayford at Pride Park on Saturday 6 April 2013.
As well as the pitch side trophy presentation before the clash with Ipswich town, the Rams fan also won tickets to the match and £500 in cash.
Matt guided his all-conquering side, '10 Men', to a haul of 107 points for the month of February, beating his closest rival by a solitary point.
On winning the award, Grundy said:
"I initially entered the Phones 4u Fantasy Football to prove that people from Derby know more about football than our Nottingham friends! Having proved that point, it is a very nice bonus to win this award for the whole of the UK.
"Walking out of the tunnel on the day of the game to collect the trophy - whilst being filmed on the big screen - was a nice touch. The presentation took place at about quarter to three, when the ground was almost full, so I received a few texts from people who had seen me out there!"
Matt has an uncomplicated approach to strategy, proving that you don't need to spend hours looking at the stats to pick a winning team:
"I notice strikers who are hitting form and take a look at their next couple of fixtures to see who they'll be up against. It does help watching Championship football in the flesh on a regular basis though. In fact, I have made at least a couple of signings shortly after seeing players do well against Derby!
"The ironic thing is that I did not have the overall player of the month in my team, Derby's Jamie Ward! Rams captain Richard Keogh did weigh in with a few points for me though.
"Another irony is that on the day I received the trophy one of my defenders (Ipswich's Carlos Edwards) scored the only goal in a 1-0 Derby defeat in the 93rd minute. The only blot on a fantastic day!"

Phones4u Manager Of The Month - January
Sheffield Wednesday fan Scott Wasilewski received his Phones 4u Fantasy Football Manager of the Month trophy from Owls goalkeeper Nicky Weaver at Hillsborough on Saturday 2 March 2013.
The manager of January's best performing Phones4u Fantasy Football team was presented with his silverware on the hallowed pitch before the clash with Nottingham Forest.
Scott guided his all-conquering side, called RoadToThePrem, to a haul of 120 points and was rewarded with a behind the scenes tour of his beloved club, match tickets, his trophy and £500 cash, courtesy of Phones 4u.
Owls trio Reda Johnson, Miguel Llera and Jermaine Johnson have played a part in Scott's success this season and he has put himself in with a shout for the £10,000 first prize - climbing to 231st place overall.
Scott was delighted to have won, and said:
"It was such an exciting month. I found myself watching every televised npower Championship game and cheering on so many moments including Kasper Schmeichel's last minute penalty save vs Middlesbrough, and Matej Vydra and Troy Deeney putting loads past every team.
"Probably the biggest cheers, for obvious reasons, were when my defender Reda Johnson scored past Hull City. At that point in the month I wasn't sure I'd hold out to win it but with a big thanks to Leicester City's Chris Wood, I did it!"
"The trophy presentation day was amazing. I took 16 people with me who watched Nicky Weaver present me with the trophy on the pitch.
"It was a special moment to turn to the Kop, lift the trophy and have all them cheer. I'll never forget it!"
